Prior to each purchase, we conduct extensive research, to determine the authorship of the work based on composition, palette, materials, and provenance, at times leveraging experts in various fields to provide technical opinions and information. It's a fascinating process, in part because many paintings in the world of fine art are unsigned, such as the 'Mona Lisa'.
